The AMTEC Less Lethal ALS1208 Bore Thunder is a 12 gauge less lethal muzzle distraction device ("flash bang") that produces approximately 174 dB at 5 feet using the TRMR-LE. A low cost, highly effective munition, the 1208 produces a diversionary device effect with flash and overpressure from a 12 ga platform and the TRMR-LE. It is not regulated as a Destructive Device, or as explosives. It is considered 12ga ammunition.
The Bore Thunder can also be used as a directional distraction device when fired from a standard 12ga shotgun.
