On 8 March 2020, many firearms and their related items moved from being controlled under ITAR administered by the Department of State, and transitioned to being on the Commerce Control List (CCL) administered by the Department of Commerce. This greatly simplified the export of these items.
TXMGO is registered with the Bureau of Industry Security (BIS) as an exporter and can facilitate the export of CCL-controlled firearms.
Examples of items that can be exported under the new regulations are:
TXMGO is registered as an exporter of Defense Articles with the United States Department of State's Directorate of Defense Trade Controls (DDTC), and is able to export Defense Articles listed on the United States Munitions List (USML).
Though on 8 March 2020, most firearms were moved off the USML and on to the CCL, some firearms and accessories remained on the USML.
Though DDTC has recently changed their polices to allow the export of suppressors to private customers, they will not approve most other USML weapons for export to private customers.
